Owkey.. Im gonna show u sum tips what i use, how start playing rhythm games like Dance! Online and Super Dancer Online (SDO)

1. If ur new to Dance! or SDO try to play on rate 3.0
I know it will goes fast!! But when ya eyes get used to it, it will go easy!! And
if you wanna try sumthing more difficult try 4.0 and get used to that ^.^
How faster it goes.. How easier to get more perfects!!

2. Change your keys to have a comfortable feeling to it o.o
Be cause those arrows keys are to compact together and that doesnt feel like great! x3
So try sumthing that will fit to you... Like.. What i use <SD< For my left hand and >KL> for my right hand ^^
<ZX< and >NM>

3. Don't just press arrows! Try to follow the music too!! Some songs on SDO has speeded up arrows and u will need to use your ears to hit them ^.^

3 Great tips!! Hope they will work and make u a great rhythm player!!

ya you should always try a really hard song super fast
and then do it again right after and try it a rate slower.
this way the arrows slow down for you and you can actually see them

:]

oh and two hands, are always better than one!
those triples can get tricky.

My tip would be o.o
Don't focus when you're playing lol
If you think too much while playing, most likely you'll end up confusing yourself.

I always play looking at the stage and the characters dancing on SDO, and only my left eye catches the arrows. :)

A tip I would like to add is play songs you get under 98% on (unless your playing the hardest song there is, then go for FC!). You advance slower or not at all if you play songs that are easy for you, I prefer songs I get 88-95% on. Also after you play a song play it again, don't go to a new song right after another when your trying to advance your self. Songs have a lot of note patterns and if you keep playing a song over and over you'll start to notice them and get use to the orders in that song as well as noticeing them faster and hit them more accurately for more perfects and higher combo. This will also help for songs that use the same note patterns (theres only so many note patterns and for end players they practially know them all and hit them as fast as a instinct). Also lastely you can also increase your self greatly by finding a song you really like and try it on a difficulty 4-5 levels above what you can do and play it over and over and over for acouple of days till you can complete it then keep going a bit more till you can always beat it. Then once you play another song near the same level as the one you just beat you can actually do them as well! Only advice if you do it this way is to try not to hit randomly all the time you will gain nothing.

Too me for all the music games I've played is all about finding the note patterns and training my self to be able to get use to them then train my self even more to be able to hit them fast enough for the song.
